EvidenceDocumentedA primary record or a faithful public-domain copy of one. This page says what the file is and where it comes from; it does not say every claim in it is true.
What this means
Primary records exist: an original document, a published text, an official file or a dated report. We link to them. This level says the record exists and what it says, not that every claim in it is true.
A second, stranger Enoch book that survives only in Slavonic. In it Enoch is taken up through ten heavens and shown how the world was made. The full 1896 English translation is here.

Text2 Enoch (Secrets of Enoch)This account of Enoch's tour through the heavens survives only in medieval Slavonic copies, and no ancient fragment has turned up. It has two enormous shining escorts and silent Grigori. The longer version ends with a baby born from his dead mother with the priestly badge already on his chest. Is it a first-century Jewish work, or later?PersonEnochGenesis spends only a few lines on Enoch, and then breaks its own pattern. Everyone else in his family line dies, but of him it says only that God took him. He lived 365 years, the same number as days in a solar year. That odd ending sparked a whole library of visions, still being read today.
