Quran · Surah 72:8–9
Jinn listening at the sky
EvidenceDocumentedThe text exists and is quoted from a published translation. What it describes is a separate question.
What this means
Primary records exist: an original document, a published text, an official file or a dated report. We link to them. This level says the record exists and what it says, not that every claim in it is true.
And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors. And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him.
